    Detach the snapshot from the live store (clone column/entity buffers) so it survives later mutation. Otherwise the snapshot references live buffers and is only valid until the next mutation.

    scope?: PersistenceScope

    Restrict the snapshot to specific persistent quadrants; omit for all.
